Terms of Service

By creating a UniHub account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, you shouldn't use the app.

• Available to students and lecturers at a participating university (currently Adeleke University)
• Every account is reviewed by an administrator before it can do anything
• Attendance uses face verification: use only your own face, and don't try to get past it with a photo, a screen, or another person
• When you register or change your face registration, the photo is kept and an administrator may review it to protect you and your classmates from impersonation. By registering your face you consent to us using your camera and your face data for attendance and impersonation checks, as the Privacy Policy describes
• You're responsible for your password and anything that happens under your account
• You can download your data or delete your account at any time from Settings. Some records other people rely on are kept without your name, as the Privacy Policy explains
• We may suspend or freeze an account that violates these terms or is under review

• Academics — course and attendance tracking, reminders
• Campus news — read, comment, and react to posts from your university

Student accounts are reviewed against a submitted ID photo and selfie before approval. Lecturer accounts go through the same pending-approval review. Your live selfie is also used to register a face template for attendance checks, and changes to it are kept and reviewed by administrators. Providing false identification, or trying to fool the face check, is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent account rejection.

You agree not to harass or threaten anyone, submit false documents, or misuse attendance or course data. If something goes wrong, reach out via the chat button or email — an administrator reviews it before any account is actioned.

UniHub provides tools (verification, dispute review) to make the platform safer, but doesn't guarantee the conduct of any user beyond that. UniHub is provided as-is. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

If these terms change in a way that matters to you, we'll let you know before it takes effect.
